Christmas Open Day

Hello, it's Andrea here doing the blog post whilst Anne is away on holiday for a couple of weeks and the Design Team is taking turns to cover the blog.

Today it's our September Christmas Open Day at the Farsley shop, we're open from 10:00 until 4:00 and there is a fabulous 20% off all of our own products for today only (just in the shop)

As it's the Christmas Open Day I thought I'd share a couple of cards made with the Christmas Artpads

Festive Trimmings 8x8 Paper Pad

If you're going to the Open Day today I hope you have a lovely time and if you're staying at home like me I hope you manage to find some time to pull out all of your LOTV goodies and create something pretty :)

Our August Top 5…

Morning everyone, we had a difficult task again this month choosing our Top 5. We had some really lovely entries into our Christmas in August challenge and here are our favourites…

In entry order, first up is number 11 from Gail…

Gail made this cute shaker card using a penguin topper from the Winter Wonderland art pad

Next is entry 18 which is by Kat W…

We love Kat’s beautiful CAS card using James In The Snow

Our 3rd choice was made by Lorraine and it was entry number 23…

Lorraine used the same image as Gail on her fab pop up card, this is the stamped version and he’s called Penguin Presents, the Ho Ho Ho! sentiment is from the Christmas Handwritten Phrases set

Entry 90 is next and this one is by Lesley…

Lesley used one of my favourite Christmas stamps on her gorgeous dimensional card. The image is My Little Tree and the sentiment is from our Christmas Wishes set

Last but certainly not least is entry 93 which is by Kathy

I’ve not seen these ‘bendi’ cards before but I love the effect. Kathy used 2 of our new Christmas stamps, Hat’s Off and Snow Flurries

I hope you like our Top 5, thank you to everyone who entered the challenge…  we always have fun looking through your work!

The challenge for September is to use some of our patterned papers on your card or project, there is still plenty of time to enter and as always we have some great prizes up for grabs

Let me know what you think of the choices for Top 5 this month, a winner will be drawn from the comments in our daily candy draw

Our winner from Sunday is Sharon, well done Sharon please email your address to

Have a good day all, make sure you stop by tomorrow for our blog hop, we will be showing some sneaky peeks of our newest stamps which we will be launching at the open day this weekend and I think you’ll love them!
