Aren’t they cute, these 3 little bears are a bit smaller than our usual images as there is 3 on the stamp sheet. They’re great for using on your smaller projects such as tags and bookmarks as well as cards

There is also a similar stamp called Present Trio and on that set the 3 little bears have got presents instead of flowers

They're great value for money because you get all 3 images for just £4.75

Pretty Vintage …

Good morning bloggers, thanks ever so much for stopping by today and I hope you’re all well?

I just want to say thanks for all the kind comments that you leave for us. The voucher draw every week is a little thank you but you really all do say lovely things about Lili of the Valley and all the cards that we share and it’s very much appreciated   …we enjoy reading them all and like to hear what you think!

***

This is a card I made using the new Pretty Vintage Statement and Quotables stamps

These have all been so popular, we weren’t sure how they would go down with our customers as they are a bit different from our usual style but you have loved them which is great and we’ve been seeing some lovely cards appearing on the blogs using them

On the front of the card is the birthday sentiment which is from the Statement stamps, this is on the  Fabulous set. These are perfect to use as the focus of your card, no colouring involved and it says exactly what you want it to say… in huge letters!

On the inside is one of the Quotable stamps, this is from the Friendship set

I used loads of Frantage powder which we now have in the shop, it’s fabulous stuff for adding a bit of dimension to your cards

This one is ‘aged ivory’ but we have a lovely selection of colours available

The gorgeous flowers and lace are all from The Ribbon Girl

***

Hope you like it, I have a little giveaway on my own blog at the moment so do stop by if you would like to enter or would like more details about this card

***

Have a lovely day everyone and make sure you visit tomorrow for another theme Thursday
If you have any ideas for our theme Thursday or would like to see cards using a particular stamp then do let me know in your comment and I’ll try to oblige

Today I have another card to show you from our Guest Designer for June    …it’s the fabulous Anita

I thought this was appropriate with the Strawberries seeing as it’s Wimbledon time. It’s a tennis tournament if you’re outside the UK and don’t know about it, it’s traditional to eat strawberries and cream while you watch the tennis   …quite often in the pouring rain lol!

I was speechless when I opened the pictures that Anita sent me, how amazing is this card?

Anita used the Blooming Wheelbarrow stamp, coloured it with Distress Inks and then cut out the image

LOTV 17-04-2013 (44)

She used 2 tags to make a pop up card and bound them with Spellbinder Bracket Borders One

Anita loves pop up cards, she says you can have a party on the inside!  The banner is made with Noor flag dies trimmed with alphabet letters (also Noor) and then embossed with UTEE

The flowers and grasses are Joy crafts dies and it’s completed with the delicious Strawberries, again stamped, coloured and cut out and finally a sentiment from Set 28 - Vintage Labels – Occasions

Let the party begin!

I hope you like it as much as we did, you’ve loved Anita’s work so far throughout June and there will be another card from her next week

See you tomorrow

Quotables …

Morning all, thanks for stopping by as always – hope you’re having a lovely weekend

Just before todays card I have a new product to tell you about that we now stock in the shop; it’s called Tack’n’Peel and one of the girls on our Design Team discovered it. It’s a clear tacky sheet that you stick onto your acrylic block and it makes it sticky so you can take your unmounted rubber stamps on and off without the need for tape, glue or spray. It’s not a huge sheet but will do 1 or 2 blocks depending on the size so that’s probably all you’d need. We won’t be putting it on the website but would be happy to post it out if anybody wanted to order some to try. I’ve only used it a couple of times on my own block but it’s still sticky and looks very promising so far!

Our Dawny has enjoyed using the new Quotable stamps, she’s made a few lovely cards with them and this is my favourite of hers…

Quotables - Dawny

I love the pink and green combination, it’s so cheerful   …these papers are from our Perfect Pair pad

This quote is from Friendship, there are 5 different sets to choose from with a lovely selection of sayings to cover all occasions

Hope you like it, see you tomorrow

Emma Swing and Pretty Vintage …

Morning all, thanks for taking a minute out of your Saturday to stop by

I normally try to leave it a while to put cards on  here that have been on the DT blogs so that you’re not seeing the same thing   …I couldn’t wait however to share this gorgeous card made by our clever Elise

PV Emma Swing - Elise

Elise has used one of the new Pretty Vintage backgrounds as a frame to the cute Emma Swing image

The frame is on Vintage Backgrounds – Sweet Serenade and the music on the underneath layer is one of our Background Bits – this is on the Notes set

The ‘souvenir’ wording she used is from another Vintage Background set; Flora and Fauna

This card is on her own blog with more details so do have a wander over there and take a look at it and you can also see what else she’s been up to. Elise has made some beautiful cards, tags and boxes with the new stamps

Hope you like it, don’t forget to leave a comment, we love to know what you think and there will be another voucher giveaway on Monday

See you tomorrow

Baby Christening …

Good morning bloggers, thanks for stopping by

Nearly the weekend again, I thought I’d share this card with you today by our Fleur

This image is one of our older designs,  I think it’s one of the nicest Christening stamps on the market and maybe you agree as it’s still really popular

Christening - Fleur

The stamp is Baby Christening and Fleur has used a sentiment from Set 30 Vintage Sentiments – Occasions

She has used the floral ovals Spellbinders dies which she likes to frame her images with. We have those, and also the Marianne English rose die (which she’s made the flowers with) available to buy in the shop. We don’t have the dies on the website but if you did want to buy them just give us a ring

That’s it from me, another week over   …have a fab weekend everyone
