Our final Guest DT…

lotvguest880

Good morning crafters, it’s the last day of November so today I have the final card from Sheri who’s been our lovely Guest Designer this month

Sheri makes the most beautiful cards and projects, we’ve had lots of comments on them and I think you’ll like this final piece too…

Sheri 4 - November - Altered clock

Sheri 4 - November - Altered clock 2

This an altered clock, what a brilliant idea. I like up cycling but this is something I certainly wouldn’t have ever thought of, I love it

Sheri used one of my favourite of our Christmas stamps, this is Build A Snowman and a wavy sentiment from the Christmas Wishes set

You can find more of Sheri’s incredible work on her own blog here

I’d like to thank Sheri and indeed all our fabulous Guest Designers over the last couple of years, sadly there aren’t enough places on our DT for all the super talented crafters that are around but this has given us chance to showcase some amazing work and I know you’ve enjoyed seeing them

***

Just a couple of reminders for the last day of November…

retiredstamps

It’s your last chance to get hold of our discontinued stamps, we don’t have many left and for the last few hours they are all reduced to just £3.00 each. With free postage on stamps it’s a real bargain so do have a look and make sure you didn’t miss any before they get taken off the website

largemonthlychallenge880

Also, today is the final day to enter our last challenge, we’d like you to make us a Christmas card or project and as always there are prizes up for grabs. You can enter and find all the details on our Challenge Page at the top of the blog

Leave a comment for the candy draw and help me thank Sheri for joining us, I’m having a few days off so am going to be scheduling the next couple of posts, there will still be one each day at the same time so don’t forget to pop by for your daily inspiration

I won’t be around to announce the winners so instead of a small daily prize I’ll draw a couple of names from the comments that have been left over the past few days when I get back, we’ll send out some sample packs of our patterned papers to the lucky winners

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone

Good morning bloggers, I hope you all have something nice planned for the weekend?

As you know by now we are retiring quite a few of our older stamps, they will disappear forever at midnight tomorrow which means just one day left!

We're doing a special price on the remaining ones of just £3.00 each for the final day

I’ve chosen some cards today using stamps that are left (at time of writing!)
If you haven’t already got them in your collection don’t miss them…

James Bear Sledging Along
Gift Wrapped (8)
Emma Walkies
Bear With Butterflies - Jen

Tealight Houses…

lotvguest880

Morning everyone, I have something a bit different to share today, our lovely Guest Designer Sheri made these adorable little houses out of our patterned papers…

Sheri 3 - November - Snow Princess House

Sheri used the Snow Princess Solids but I think any of the papers would work just as well

LOTV SNOW PRINCESS SOLIDS

Pop a little tea light inside each one and the windows will glow, such a sweet idea for a Christmas decoration

ps. for safety make sure you use a battery tealight, we wouldn’t want them going up in flames after all your hard work!

Theme Thursday…

lotvthemethursday

Good morning all, time for Theme Thursday and I thought we’d have some Christmas cards today

I haven’t even started on mine yet, I made myself a New year’s resolution that I wouldn’t buy any cards and so far this year I haven’t

Wether that will extend to my Christmas cards remains to be seen as time is quickly running out…   but I am going to try!!

I will definitely use the art pads for them, they are really quick and easy and save so much time if you have a few to do. So for today’s Theme Thursday I’ve chosen…

Christmas cards made using our art pad toppers

 JPP Furry Christmas - Andrea

Christmas Cuties - Angel 2 Christmas Cuties Angel - Anne

Snow Angel Furry Christmas - Andrea

Christmas Cuties Gift On Tree - Mary

Vintage Christmas Perfect Tree - Mary

  Christmas Eve Snowman - Anne

 Furry Christmas - Anne

    Penguins 2 - Amanda

  Sledging Furry Christmas - Andrea

 Trees - Lou

I was spoiled for choice as you can see, I don’t usually put so many cards in one post!

All of these cards are quite simple and using the art pads, some patterned paper and a bit of bling you can soon have a few made in no time at all! You can see our full range of coloured art pads on the website and until Christmas they are in with our fabulous £20 multibuy offers, you can buy 4 for just £20 and worldwide postage on them is FREE!

Good morning crafty friends, how are you today?

I hope if you are near enough that you will be visiting the shop tomorrow for our last open day of the year. There are some great offers on (we know some of you travel a long way, so it’s a little thank you from us) and we still a have a couple of places left on the workshops if you fancy joining in and making a day of it

We were hoping that the new Cross Stitch charts would be ready in time…   and they are, yippee! You can buy them tomorrow in the shop and they will be available on the website on Monday

first cross stitch launch

Each design contains two A3 black and white charts; one showing backstitch and cross stitch, and one with just cross stitch symbols for ease of reference. Also included is a full colour front sheet featuring the finished design Our first launch consists of four fairies and two Christmas charts featuring 6 small separate designs on each

I’ve had a go at many crafty hobbies over the years and although I love to sew, Cross Stitch is something I’ve never done. I’ve been watching the girls here at HQ stitching up the samples and they look amazing, I can’t wait to have a go myself!
